Dear Corey's Grandmother,
Please remember that you have every right to be angry with Clarence. But a child can also be inintentionally damaged by your anger. Your grandson will do much better in life if you allow him the dignity of not knowing how uncaring and irresponsible his father has behaved in the past. You need only relate that his dad has had problems being a parent. Corey needs to know that now his father is deeply concerned and that his loves him. Little boys need to know they are loved by their fathers even if those fathers are immature and neglectful. You don't need to let him hurt the child again, but you can allow the wounds to heal...God bless you!
