missing mother - a victim of Hurricane KatrinaAnakakia (Anastasia) Kalola (Carol) Ekewaka McHorn has not been seen or heard from since Hurricane Katrina hit the Biloxi, Harrison Co., MS area. She had all of her natural teeth. It is unknown if she had a dentist in the Biloxi area. She has a tattoo of a butterfly on her upper butt where it joins her back. She broke both legs in a car wreck in 2003. No prosthetics of any kind. We are not sure if she was using her Hawaiian maiden name (Anakakia Kalola Ekewaka) or her American married name of Anastasia Carol McHorn.
Her birthdate is 10-10-1959. She is 5'5" to 5'6" tall, and weighs 145 - 150 pounds. She did not wear glasses or contacts. She has brown eyes and dark chestnut hair. She did not perm her hair. She did not wear nail polish. She only had pierced ears. She mainly wore shorts, skorts, t-shirts, and camo tops. She was left-handed. She did not wear a watch often. She never served in the military. She completed four years at the University of Hawaii. She was separated from her husband. His name is Steve. She has two children. She did not have a mailing address or telepohone. She was basically a poor lady who lived and worked on the street with no money at all. She only wore jewelry that was given to her. Her mother's name Malia Lalan (Mary Laruen) Ekewaka. Her father is Alepeleke Haneke (Alfred Hans) Ekewaka. They are both still living. As far as her daughter knows, in July, Anastasia had a car, a Honda or Toyota or a car like that. It is not known if she still had that vehicle or not. Her children need her. She has a 12 year old son and a 17 year old daughter who are both safe. They really need some word on their mom. They are currently with their grandparents. Due to family issues, the children are unable to do the search for their mother themselves. So, I am working on behalf of the children to help locate their mom. Her daughter broke her leg in 4 places two weeks ago and will in a cast for at least 2 and 1/2 months. She could use some tender loving care that only a mom can give. Please don't hesitate to call 423-504-5242 or contact me at any time with information or questions that may help to find Anastasia. I have my cell phone on 24/7 for that very reason. I appreciate all of your help in this matter. I am extermely grateful for all that you can do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts does not seem like enough. She was living alone in Biloxi. I have been involved in this search 24/7 since August 29, 2005. I am working non-stop on behalf of two very precious young people who desperately need their mom. First of all, I tried contacting the newspaper in Biloxi. When I told them I was looking for a missing person they gave me a different number. That number turned out to be for the FEMA - DMORT Office of the Harrison County Sheriff's Department in MS. I gave them all of the information that I have. All of the information that I have shared repeatedly. When I called the Harrison County Sheriff's Department trying to file a formal missing persons report, they put me in touch with |
